Corona Tools USA
Industry Position: Corona Tools manufactures more than 200 high quality tools for gardening and commercial use.
Assignment:
@GardenGeri worked with the VP of Communications and Social Media to produce monthly newsletters and years of blog posts. @GardenGeri wrote news releases publicizing Corona Cares community service projects (participated in more than 200 events, partnered with over 222 organizations and donated more than $222,000 worth of tools since launching the program in 2009.) She moderated Twitter chats (#Plantchat, #Treechat and #Landscapechat) as needed, of interest to GILN Green Industry Leaders Network, commercial growers and home gardeners.
Results: Audience engagement, as measured by Corona’s unique page views, social media contacts, have improved over the past three years.
Corona’s strategy of selling better tools begins with engaging better gardeners. This includes testing tools and documenting their use on real world projects. By providing context for Corona’s tools, GardenGeri delivers important understanding of Corona’s brand features along with valuable gardening and craft advice.


Organizational, Theme Development
GardenGeri provides organizational, theme development and on line hosting support for Corona’s weekly twitter chats that engage as many as 35,000 customers and prospects per year.
