Southeastern Flower Show 2011
Market Position: 24th annual Southeastern Flower Show, the 6th largest gardening show in the U.S.
Assignment: Developed strategic pr plan for entire publicity campaign including timeline and deliverables, and created content for all news releases, print and online collateral materials. Responsible for all media relations outreach, including television and radio interviews and photo shoots. Created social media accounts and content. Coordinated VIP and Media appearances and worked closely with 2011 Show Chairwoman Mary Norwood and SFS Executive Committee.
Results: Attendance increased 15% over previous year. ABC/WSB-Atlanta Anchor Jovita Moore and Justin Farmer attended the Preview Party and presented Awards onstage. SFS principals gave 10 radio and television interviews. Create first-ever real-time Facebook and Twitter pages for the Southeastern Flower Show.
